The Trans Week, formerly known as Fantasia Fair, is a one-week transgender event held in the fishing and LGBT resort village of Provincetown, right at the top of Cape Cod. The first trade fair took place in 1975, making Trans Week the longest-running transgender event.

About the event
This event is the world's longest-running transgender festival and takes place annually in October in Provincetown (Massachusetts, USA). It's a one-week, immersive festival that works as a mix of educational program, social gathering, and community class reunion. Participants can spend a week here around the clock safely and accepted in their lived identity.
The program: It includes daily workshops (e.g. On gender theory, trans* history, voice training), keynotes, art and culture events as well as festive evenings such as fashion shows and award ceremonies.
Goal: Creation of an absolutely safe space for self-development and networking.
