We start in Colombo, with a tour of the capital city that blends modern influences with colonial charm. From there, we continue to Sigiriya, where you’ll climb the impressive Lion Rock, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and explore the famous Dambulla Caves with their ancient temples and sculptures.

Next, the journey takes us to Kandy, the cultural heart of Sri Lanka, where a visit to the iconic Temple of the Sacred Tooth is a must. DAY 1 – 18. JANUARY - COLOMBO (ARRIVAL)

Welcome to Sri Lanka, where culture, nature, and adventure come together! Get ready to discover breathtaking landscapes, ancient temples, and a warmth of hospitality that will make you feel right at home.

Upon your arrival at Colombo International Airport, a private transfer will take you directly and comfortably to your hotel in Colombo.

Here we’ll welcome you – and this will also serve as our group meeting point. Depending on your arrival time, you can take some time to relax. In the evening, we’ll enjoy a group dinner, the perfect opportunity to get to know each other, connect, and create the first unforgettable memories.

DAY 2 – 19. JANUARY - COLOMBO

Today is your first full day in Colombo! After breakfast, at a time to be confirmed, we’ll begin our city exploration.

In Colombo, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of approximately 4 hours. With a professional guide,

we’ll discover some of the city’s main highlights, including:

DAY 3 – 20. JANUARY – SIGIRIYA

Today we leave Colombo and travel by comfortable private transfer to Sigiriya, a journey of approximately 4 hours.

Located in the heart of Sri Lanka, Sigiriya is one of the country’s most iconic and fascinating sites. Known as the “Fortress in the Sky,” this ancient citadel rises atop an impressive rock monolith, surrounded by lush gardens, water channels, and walls. Sigiriya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and a true symbol of Sri Lanka’s history and culture.

After arriving at the hotel, the rest of the day is free for you to relax, enjoy the facilities, and soak in the tranquil surroundings. It’s recommended to get an early night, as tomorrow begins early with the highly anticipated visit to the magnificent Lion Rock – one of the highlights of this trip!

DAY 4 – 21. JANUARY - SIGIRIYA

Today we rise very early to visit the impressive Lion Rock and witness the sunrise. The climb begins early, not only to avoid the intense heat but also to get ahead of the crowds and make the hike more enjoyable.

The Lion Rock is one of Sri Lanka’s most iconic landmarks. This massive 200-meter-high rock was transformed into a royal fortress in the 5th century, featuring frescoes, gardens, and sculptures that continue to fascinate visitors today. The view from the summit is absolutely unforgettable.

The visit concludes in the late morning, but the day is far from over. Next, we continue to the famous Dambulla Caves, a complex of rock-cut Buddhist temples adorned with statues and murals reflecting centuries of history and spirituality.

Around midday, we return to the hotel, where you’ll have time to eat, rest, and recharge after a morning full of breathtaking sights.

Tomorrow, we say goodbye to Sigiriya and continue our journey.

DAY 5 – 22. JANUARY - KANDY

Today we leave Sigiriya and travel to Kandy, the cultural heart of Sri Lanka. This charming city is famous for the Temple of the Sacred Tooth, its botanical gardens, and a vibrant atmosphere that blends ancient traditions with modern city life.

A private transfer will pick us up from the hotel and take us on a comfortable 2.5–3 hour drive to Kandy.

Upon arrival, we can drop off our bags at the hotel and enjoy lunch before our city adventure begins. In the early afternoon, at a time to be confirmed, we’ll take a tuk-tuk tour through Kandy, discovering the city’s most iconic spots and experiencing the energy and charm of Kandy up close.

In the late afternoon, we return to the hotel, where you can rest and relax after a day full of new experiences.

DAY 6 – 23. JANUARY - ELLA

Today we continue our fantastic journey through Sri Lanka and travel to Ella, a small mountain village known for its breathtaking landscapes, rolling tea plantations, and peaceful atmosphere – perfect for relaxing and enjoying nature.

At a time to be confirmed, a private transfer will take us from the hotel in Kandy to our hotel in Ella. The comfortable 4-hour drive offers stunning views along the way.

After arriving in Ella, the rest of the day is free for you to relax and explore the village, discover its small local restaurants and shops, or simply soak in the laid-back atmosphere. If you wish, you can visit a tea plantation in the afternoon and learn more about the production of this iconic Sri Lankan beverage.

DAY 7 – 24. JANUARY - ELLA

We wake up in Ella and, after breakfast, set out for an incredible tour at a time to be confirmed. Our personal guide will lead us to the famous Nine Arches Bridge, a true gem of the region, where you can admire the surrounding nature.

The bridge, 91 meters long, spans dense jungle and fields, offering a picturesque view perfect for photos. With the forest in the background and tea plantations in sight, this beautiful stone and brick structure stands as a masterpiece in the landscape.

After exploring the Nine Arches Bridge, we continue on a moderate hike to Little Adam's Peak. The trail winds through tea plantations, where you can observe workers harvesting leaves. Along the way, there are several viewpoints offering spectacular vistas of Sri Lanka’s mountains – each stop is a unique opportunity to capture the beauty of the surroundings.

After returning, the afternoon is free for you. How about relaxing in one of Ella’s many trendy cafés? We’ll be happy to offer tips and recommendations for things to do.

DAY 8 – 25. JANUARY - MIRISSA BEACH

Today we leave Ella and head to the coast, to Mirissa! We start early, as we’ll make a special stop along the way at the famous Udawalawe National Park for an exciting guided jeep safari. This park is renowned for its wild elephants, buffalo, and other Sri Lankan wildlife, offering an incredible opportunity to connect with nature.

After the safari, we continue our journey to Mirissa Beach. Upon arrival, the rest of the day is free for you to relax and enjoy everything this paradisiacal beach has to offer. Finally by the sea – make the most of every moment!

DAY 9 – 26. JANUARY - MIRISSA BEACH

Today you wake up on the beach in Mirissa, and after so many days of travel, you have a full day at your leisure to simply relax! You can enjoy the golden sand, the hotel pool, and explore the famous Coconut Hill – a perfect spot for photos with breathtaking ocean views.

The day is completely free to plan as you wish. We’ll be nearby to assist with anything you need and to offer tips for activities or sights. If you like, you can join an optional whale-watching tour early tomorrow morning – a unique experience to perfectly round off your stay on Sri Lanka’s south coast.

DAY 10 –27. JANUARY - MIRISSA BEACH

Today is your last full day in this paradise, Mirissa Beach. If you wish, you can book an early morning whale-watching boat tour in advance. If you’re interested, just let us know – we’ll be happy to help organize it.

Alternatively, you can enjoy the day entirely as you like: relax on the beach or by the pool, sip refreshing cocktails, or sample the region’s fantastic fresh fish and seafood specialties. The day is all yours!

DAY 11 – 28. JANUARY - GALLE

Today we leave Mirissa Beach, and a private transfer will take us to the final destination of this fantastic journey, a short drive of about 1 hour. We head to Galle, a historic coastal city known for its colonial walls, picturesque streets, and historic buildings reflecting centuries of history and cultural diversity.

Upon arrival in Galle in the early afternoon, you’ll join a guided walking tour. A local guide will show you the city’s most iconic and charming spots, allowing you to fully experience the magic of this old fortified city.

In the late afternoon, we return to the hotel. As this is our last day together as a group, we’ll enjoy a farewell dinner. We’ll reflect on the past days and perhaps start dreaming about future adventures. You’re sure to have made new friends and collected many wonderful memories.
