DAY 1:

Welcome to Delhi! Upon your arrival at Delhi Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a representative of Unfiltered Experiences and taken to your hotel.


Delhi, the fascinating capital of India, uniquely combines its rich historical heritage - visible in the impressive monuments and lively old town districts - with a modern, cosmopolitan atmosphere. This exciting mix makes the city an ideal start to your trip to India.


After check-in you have time to relax and recover from the journey. The rest of the day is at your disposal. Take the opportunity to explore the surroundings on your own or enjoy the amenities of your hotel.


Overnight stay in Delhi.

DAY 2:

After breakfast you will set off for a sightseeing tour of Delhi.


First, explore Old Delhi and visit the Jama Masjid, the largest mosque in India, which was built in 1656. The spacious courtyard can accommodate up to 25,000 believers. Then you will visit Chandni Chowk, the oldest and largest market in Old Delhi, which inspires with its colors, fragrances and busy hustle and bustle.


Afterwards, enjoy a rickshaw ride from the Fatehpuri Masjid to the impressive Red Fort, a monumental red sandstone building. There your driver will wait for you and take you on to the Raj Ghat, the memorial and cremation site of Mahatma Gandhi, the "Father of the Nation".


Afterwards you will visit the Humayun Mausoleum, an outstanding example of early Mughal architecture in India. The mausoleum, built in 1565, is considered the architectural inspiration for the later Taj Mahal.


During a tour, you will also see the Rashtrapati Bhavan (the official residence of the Indian president), the parliament building and the India Gate - a war memorial dedicated to the approximately 70,000 Indian soldiers who lost their lives in World War I.


At the end of the day, you will visit the Qutb Minar, an imposing victory tower. Its construction began in 1193 under the supervision of the Muslim ruler Qutb-ud-din Aibak. The structure, built of red sandstone and marble, is almost 73 meters high and tapers from a diameter of 15 meters at the base to only 2.5 meters at its top.

DAY 3:

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and drive to the beautiful city of Jaipur, known as the "Pink City" of India. The journey takes you to a region full of royal history, where culture and tradition come alive at every corner. After your arrival you check in at the hotel and have time to relax.


Jaipur is famous for its characteristic pink architecture, magnificent palaces and impressive fortresses that tell of the illustrious heritage of the Rajputen kings.


Equally fascinating are the city's lively bazaars, which delight with traditional handicrafts, colorful textiles and exquisite jewelry.


In the evening you have the opportunity to explore the local markets on your own and enjoy the special atmosphere of this colorful city.


Overnight stay in Jaipur.

DAY 4:

After breakfast, you will go on a full-day tour of Jaipur, the royal "Pink City".


Your day begins with an impressive ride up to Amber Fort, which sits majestically on a hill. There you will explore the impressive fortress with its fascinating Rajputen architecture, magnificent mirror rooms and magnificent views of the Aravalli hills.


Afterwards, you will visit the Nahargarh Fort, originally known as Sudarshangarh. The fortress, built in 1734 by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II, once served as a strategic defense for the city. Located high above Jaipur, it offers spectacular panoramic views of the surroundings.


Then we continue to the mystical Galta Ji Temple, also known as the Monkey Temple. Embedded in the Aravalli Hills, this peaceful temple complex is famous for its natural springs, holy water basins and numerous macaques. Here spirituality, nature and everyday life are combined in a special way.


Afterwards, you will visit the magnificent city palace of Jaipur, an impressive interplay of Rajasthani and Mughal architecture that reflects the royal history of the city to this day.


Continue to the famous Jantar Mantar, an astronomical observatory from the 18th century. Century, which was built by Maharaja Sawai Jai Singh II. The extraordinary instruments were used to observe stars, planets, sky movements and time measurement.


At the end of your visit, visit the iconic Hawa Mahal, the "Palace of the Winds". With its unique facade of 953 artfully designed windows, it is one of the most famous landmarks of Jaipur. The windows once allowed the royal ladies to observe life on the streets without being seen themselves.


After a day full of royal history, architectural masterpieces and cultural impressions, you will return to your hotel.

DAY 5:

After breakfast you go to Agra. On the way you will make a fascinating stopover in the historic town of Fatehpur Sikri, a masterpiece of the 16th century. Century, which was built by Emperor Akbar.


During your visit, you will discover impressive buildings such as the elegant Panch Mahal, a five-story palace, and the monumental Buland Darwaza, one of the highest gates in the world. Built to celebrate Akbar's victory over Gujarat and is considered an outstanding example of Mughal architecture. The entire facility impressively reflects the architectural brilliance and visionary creative power of the Mughal era.


Then you continue your journey to Agra. The city is located on the banks of the Yamuna River and is known for its rich Mughal heritage and its world-famous monuments.


After arrival you check in at your hotel and can relax. The rest of the day is at your disposal to let the impressions of the day have an effect or to explore Agra on your own.

DAY 6:

Start your day early with a visit to the famous Taj Mahal, a timeless symbol of love and one of the most impressive buildings in the world. Emperor Shah Jahan had this ivory-white marble masterpiece built in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal. Depending on the incidence of light, the structure changes its colors - soft pink at sunrise, bright white during the day and golden shimmering in the moonlight. Especially the sunrise at the Taj Mahal is an unforgettable experience.


Then you return to your hotel for breakfast. Later you will visit the majestic Agra Fort, an impressive fortress of the Mughal era, which inspires with its extraordinary architecture and eventful history. Among other things, you will explore the Diwan-i-Aam (Hall of Public Audiences), the Diwan-i-Khas (Hall of Private Audiences) and the magnificent Sheesh Mahal, the so-called Hall of Mirrors.


Then continue to the elegant tomb of Itmad-ud-Daulah, which is often referred to as the "Baby Taj" due to its filigree architecture. The mausoleum is embedded in artfully landscaped Mughal gardens in the classic Charbagh style.


After a day full of history and architectural masterpieces, return to your hotel.


Overnight stay in Agra.

DAY 7:

After breakfast you will be accompanied by our representative to the station, where you will take your train to Jhansi.


Upon arrival, you will be welcomed by our local representative and taken to Orchha – a hidden gem known for its timeless charm and stunning architecture. After arriving in Orchha, you check in at the hotel and have time to relax.


The historic city on the banks of the Betwa River is characterized by magnificent palaces and temples, which were built by the Bundela rulers in the 16th and 17th centuries. Century and have preserved their original character to this day.


Later you will explore the impressive fortress of Orchha. The prelude is the magnificent Jehangir Mahal, which was built by Raja Bir Singh Ju Deo in memory of the visit of Emperor Jehangir. The mighty architecture is harmoniously complemented by elegant chhatris (pavilions) and artistic lattice work.


Afterwards, you will visit the Raj Mahal, which is known for its magnificent interiors and colorful murals with religious motifs.


Then it goes to the unique Ram Raja Temple, where Lord Rama is worshipped not as a deity, but as a king in a palace. Afterwards, you will visit the Laxminarayan Temple, which is famous for its remarkable wall paintings and the successful combination of different architectural styles.


After a culturally enriching day, you return to your hotel and can end the evening relaxed.

Train information: The train departs from Agra Cantt at 07:45 and reaches station V. Lakshmibai JHS in Jhansi at 10:30. The journey time is about 2 hours and 45 minutes. For this route, tickets are booked in the upscale category "Executive Chair Car (EC)" on the modern Vande Bharat Express, one of the most advanced trains in India. The fare is included in the travel package. However, the seat allocation is subject to availability at the time of booking and according to the principle "First Come, First Served".

DAY 8:

After breakfast, you will travel to Khajuraho, the former capital of the Chandela dynasty and now world famous for its extraordinary temple complexes.


Built between 950 and 1050 AD, the temples are considered impressive testimonies of India's rich artistic and cultural heritage. Although many buildings were lost over the centuries, the preserved temples are excellently preserved and fascinate visitors from all over the world.


Particularly noteworthy are the artistic stonemasonwork and filigree reliefs, which show deities, scenes of daily life as well as symbolic representations of human emotions. The extraordinary attention to detail and craftsmanship perfection make Khajuraho a unique cultural treasure.


After your arrival you can check in at the hotel and relax.

DAY 9:

After breakfast, explore the impressive temple group of Khajuraho, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that reflects the artistic brilliance of the Chandela dynasty.


The temples were built over a period of about 200 years and are divided into three groups: East, West and South groups, each showing its own architectural peculiarities and artistic details.


The Eastern Group is known for its finely designed Jain temples, including the important Parsvanath Temple. The western group includes some of the most impressive and best preserved buildings, such as the Kandariya Mahadev Temple, the Devi Jagdamba Temple, the Chausath Yogini Temple, and the Chitragupta Temple, which are famous for their extraordinary reliefs and monumental architecture.


The southern group includes the Duladeo Temple, the Chaturbhuj Temple and Beejamandal, which round off the overall cultural picture of this historic complex.


The temples are known worldwide for their artistic sculptures depicting deities, everyday scenes and symbolic representations of human emotions - a unique testimony to Indian art history. After an impressive day of sightseeing, you will return to your hotel.


Overnight in Khajuraho.

DAY 10:

After breakfast you will be accompanied by our representative to the station, where you will take your train to Varanasi.


When you arrive in one of the oldest permanently inhabited cities in the world, you immediately feel a change - from royal splendor to deep spirituality. Varanasi, also called Benaras, is picturesquely located on the holy Ganges and has been attracting seekers, pilgrims and travelers with its timeless energy for centuries. As Mark Twain once said, the city is "older than history, older than tradition, even older than legend."


After your arrival you will be taken to your hotel. The rest of the day is at your disposal - either to rest or to experience the special, spiritual atmosphere of the city at your own pace.


Overnight stay in Varanasi.


The train departs from Khajuraho at 3:20 PM and reaches Varanasi at 11:10 PM. The total travel time is about 7 hours and 50 minutes.


For this route, tickets are booked in the upscale category "Executive Chair Car (EC)" on the modern Vande Bharat Express, one of the most advanced trains in India. However, seat allocation depends on availability at the time of booking and on a first come, first served basis. Alternatively, flight connections are also possible for this route. However, these are subject to the respective flight schedules and availability at the time of booking.

DAY 11:

Your tour in Varanasi starts with an early boat trip on the Ganges. Enjoy the impressive sunrise moods on the sacred river and then return to the hotel for breakfast.


After breakfast you drive to Sarnath. This place is associated with numerous Buddhist pilgrimage sites of great importance. For believing Buddhists, it is a particularly important spiritual place.


Afterwards you will visit the New Vishwanath Temple, also called "Birla Mandir". He is located on the grounds of Banaras Hindu University and is dedicated to Lord Shiva. The construction of this temple took about 35 years.


Then we continue to the Tulsi Mana's Temple, which was built in 1964 by the royal family of Benares. It is believed that the poet Tulsidas wrote the great Indian epic "Ramcharithmanas" here.


Nearby is the Durga Temple, also called "Ape Temple", dedicated to the goddess Durga and symbolizes the divine feminine energy.


In the evening, you will experience the spectacular Ganga Aarti at the Dashashwamedh Ghat – a daily ceremony on the banks of the Gang, which has been practiced in this form for centuries.


Overnight stay in Varanasi.

DAY 12:

After breakfast, our representative will assist you with a smooth transfer to Varanasi Airport, where you will start your return flight home.
