Experience Sicily, an island of landscapes, flavors, and stories shaped by centuries of cultural encounters. This multi-day journey invites you to explore both iconic highlights and hidden gems, guided by authenticity, pleasure, and connection.

Begin in Taormina, perched between Mount Etna and the Ionian Sea, famous for its ancient Greek Theatre, elegant streets, and stunning coastal views. Discover the city that has long inspired artists, writers, and LGBTQ+ travelers.

WHT TO EXPECT?

Highlights include a hands-on Sicilian cooking class, a private boat tour along Taormina and Giardini Naxos, and a day at an exclusive beach club. Visit Cefalù, a charming coastal town with a Norman cathedral and sandy beaches, then explore western Sicily’s salt pans near Trapani and a historic Marsala winery.

In Palermo, uncover the city’s vibrant culture, historic neighborhoods, street markets, and LGBTQ+ heritage, with tastings that connect past and present.

The journey concludes with a relaxing day in Cefalù and a farewell dinner. More than a tour, this experience is an invitation to discover Sicily through beaches, food, wine, sea, and stories.

DAY 1:

Arrival in Taormina, one of Sicily’s most iconic destinations, overlooking the Ionian Sea. After arrival, enjoy free time for lunch or a first stroll through town.

Check-in at a selected 4-star hotel with panoramic views of Isola Bella. The rest of the afternoon is free to relax, enjoy the beach, or simply soak in the elegant atmosphere of Taormina.

In the evening, gather for a welcome dinner at a local restaurant, the perfect opportunity to get to know your fellow travelers and start your Sicilian experience together.

IMPORTANT: Optional transfers can be arranged upon request.

DAY 2:

A full day at leisure to explore Taormina at your own pace.

Long a favorite destination for European aristocracy during the Grand Tour, Taormina has also played a significant role in LGBTQ+ cultural history since the late 19th century. Artists, intellectuals and photographers—most notably Wilhelm von Gloeden—found here a space of inspiration, beauty and personal freedom.

You may choose to visit the Ancient Greek Theatre, stroll through elegant streets lined with boutiques and cafés, relax on the beaches of Isola Bella or Mazzarò, or enjoy Taormina’s vibrant nightlife.

DAY 3:

In the morning, take part in a hands-on Sicilian cooking experience led by a professional local chef.

The experience begins with a visit to a nearby open-air market, where you’ll select fresh, seasonal ingredients. Back in the kitchen, the chef will guide you through the preparation of traditional Sicilian recipes, including homemade pasta and local specialties.

Once the cooking session is complete, sit down together to enjoy the meal you’ve prepared, paired with local wine.

The afternoon and evening are free for relaxation or independent exploration.

DAY 4:

Enjoy a half-day private boat excursion along the stunning coastline of Taormina and Giardini Naxos.

Sail past hidden bays, dramatic cliffs and sea caves, stopping for swimming and snorkeling in crystal-clear waters. Highlights include the Isola Bella Marine Park, the Blue Grotto, the Cave of Lovers, and the Coral Grotto.

A light lunch featuring Sicilian specialties is served on board, accompanied by a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

The rest of the day is free. In the evening, enjoy an aperitivo at one of Taormina’s iconic bars, including locations featured in The White Lotus.

DAY 5:

A full day dedicated to relaxation at the exclusive TAO Beach Club in Taormina, located on the golden sands of Baia delle Sirene.

Enjoy reserved beach facilities, attentive service, and a refined seaside atmosphere. The perfect setting to unwind, swim, and enjoy the Mediterranean sun in style.

DAY 6:

After breakfast, depart Taormina and travel toward the northern coast of Sicily.

Arrival in Cefalù, a charming seaside town dominated by its Norman cathedral and long sandy beach. Enjoy free time for lunch before checking in at a selected 4-star hotel.

The afternoon is free to explore the historic center, relax on the beach, or enjoy the sunset overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea.

DAY 7:

A full-day excursion to western Sicily, dedicated to salt, wine and tradition.

Visit the historic Trapani salt pans, where sea salt has been harvested since ancient times. Explore a traditional windmill and enjoy a guided salt-tasting experience.

Lunch follows at a local restaurant set in a former salt workers’ structure, now restored.

In the afternoon, continue to Marsala to visit a historic wine estate within the Stagnone Nature Reserve. Enjoy a guided tour of the cellar and aging rooms, followed by a tasting of Marsala wines paired with local products.

Return to Cefalù in the late afternoon.

DAY 8:

After breakfast, depart for Palermo, Sicily’s vibrant capital.

Meet your local guide for a guided walking tour focused on Palermo’s history, culture and LGBTQ+ heritage. Explore the historic center, including exterior views of the Cathedral and Cappella Palatina, and wander through the lively markets of Ballarò and Vucciria, where street food and local life take center stage.

Lunch is based on traditional street food tastings along the route.

In the afternoon, continue to a prestigious wine estate near Palermo for a guided visit and tasting experience.

Return to Cefalù in the late afternoon. Evening at leisure.

DAY 9:

A final day to relax and enjoy Cefalù at your own pace—by the sea, in the old town, or simply unwinding. In the evening, gather for a farewell dinner at a local restaurant, celebrating the journey and the connections made along the way.

DAY 10:

End of services after breakfast.
